"The usefulness of the CBCT cannot be disputed. It is a valuable task-specific imaging modality, producing minimal radiation exposure to the patient and providing maximal information to the clinician"

This new technology allows our specialists to make three-dimensional radiographic models of your teeth and their surrounding tissues in a very small and limited field of view (lowest radiation). The dimensional accuracy is exact to life, with little or almost no distortion. Our specialists can examine virtual micro-slices of the tooth and its surrounding structures in different spatial planes, and inspect the intricate internal anatomy of the tooth and the residual damage to its surrounding tissues in response to past or present diease. Dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of x-ray machine used in situations where regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. The information generated from CBCT images provide crucial and valuable information used in the methodic process of considering a differential diagnosis. Studies generated from these images may support or alter the planned course of treatment.

Lower exposure to radiation, image enhancement technology, faster results, no harmful chemicals, improved communication, preserved image quality, environmentally safe. This is a list of just a few benefits that modern digital radiography provides. The accuracy of images produced through digital means are now undistinguishable from the high quality of images that the traditional film images used to provide. We now live in a digital age, where data is produced and transferred in the speed of light. Digital radiography allows our specialists to merge accuracy and efficiency into one effective diagnostic advantage.

Digital Radiography

With a digital system, information from radiographic images is collected more easily and in a more objective way, which will improve the performance of the diagnostic process."
